Seeko'o Hotel

One of the first pieces of newly generating area to the Bordeaux waterfront.

For many years the Bordeaux waterfront on the north of the city has been in a slump. But now, a redevelopement plan has been actioned and the Seeko’o Hotel is one of the first new added features of the developement. The building of this hotel will pull in a higher class to the area thus drawing in wealth and a better economic future for the area.

Consistant of a typical but stlyish hotel layout, its added features of interior design and sloping walls creating a different to the generic hotel. Atelier King Kong architects have come up with an alternative to the white rendered box and they have pushed and pulled points to create a 2300 msq edgy new hotel.

From the outside it looks like an alien object drawing in fascination. The interior is designed well around a fairly typical internal floor to floor layout. There are plenty of facilities like a bar, resturant, luxury spa and some conference rooms, but those are minor compared to the penthouses available, taking full advantage of the river views.

Overall the hotel captures a generic stay but interior and spacial features create the difference of space.
